The Scottish government is now encouraging Disabled people to find out if they are eligible for the disability benefits run by the Scottish government.
These include child disability payment, which helps families cover the extra costs of bringing up a child or young person with a disability or long-term health condition. Adult disability payment is the Scottish benefit for people of working age with a disability or long-term health condition, whether or not they are working, to help cover the extra costs.
The new campaign was launched on 10 April and is running on television, online, on billboards and on buses.
Disability Rights UK has just launched its own resource on child disability payment, with details of who can claim and how to claim.
