Disabled Peoples Organisations Support Hub
An Online Support Hub to support Disabled People’s Organisations (DPOs) with their core business functions, so they can build capacity to continue their vital work.
Welcome to Disability Rights UK’s Disabled People’s Organisation (DPO) Support hub, designed to support DPOs with their core business functions, enabling them to deliver their main activities/objectives. For example, providing physical activity opportunities for Disabled people, having casework or advice line services or policy and campaigning work. These resources were produced in collaboration with DPOs, with whom we've worked on various projects to ensure they meet the needs of DPOs. These resources explain the fundamental principles with additional hyperlinks for those people wanting in-depth information and real-life examples.
These guidance notes have been developed in a collaboration between Disability Rights UK, Disabled People's Organisations (DPOs) and disability consultants. These guidance notes are aimed at DPOs to support them with their core business functions, such as fundraising and recruitment, as well as embedding intersectionality into their core structures. They provide an explanation of the key principles with additional hyperlinks for those people wanting in-depth information and real-life examples.
