This DWP note includes a further breakdown of the Activity 12 (Moving around) point scores for those who DWP think will be entitled to Personal Independence Payment (PIP).
Entitlement to PIP Mobility Component is based on the sum of the scores for activities 11 and 12.
The figures show the score distribution for Activity 12 alone and do not indicate the number of people who would be expected to reach the threshold for Standard or Enhanced Mobility by way of a cumulative score.
Moving Around Activity score caseload - October 2015
- Those scoring 12 points - 120,000
- Those scoring 10 points - 104,000
- Those scoring 8 points - 33,000
- Those scoring 4 points - 66,000
- Those scoring 0 points - 359,000
Total - 682,000.
