The European Network on Independent Living (ENIL) is recruiting a new Executive Director (ED), who is to open new horizons and take the organisation onto the next stage of its development. The new Executive Director will replace Jamie Bolling, who will leave the position after 8 years, to become the organisation’s Senior Advisor.
ENIL is seeking an extraordinary individual, with strong organisational and leadership skills, and a proven track record in promoting the right to independent living at the national or European/international level. S/he will work alongside the ENIL Board and staff, to further develop ENIL and the Independent Living movement in Europe.
The Executive Director will be based at ENIL’s Secretariat in Brussels and must be willing to travel extensively throughout the year. S/he must have the right to work in Belgium and be highly proficient in English. The starting date foreseen for this position is September 1, 2017, with interviews provisionally planned for April 2017.
