The small things in the practices of co-production really matter, so that disabled people can have a stronger voice in the commissioning of social and health services.
Anna Denham has worked on several projects for Disability Rights UK (DR UK) since November 2015, mostly in the field of research and policy impact. For the Getting Things Changed research project she worked closely with both DR UK and The Norah Fry Centre for Disability Studies, University of Bristol, to research what facilitates ‘good’ co-production between disabled people's organisations and local authority commissioning teams.
