Disability Rights UK has launched their Future Ready Hub - the new home for everything relating to young people at DR UK!
Building on the recently launched Future Ready e-newsletter, the Future Ready Hub brings all things education and employment related together. It was created with the aim to support those navigating their post-16 options, and inform anyone who wants to know more about their rights.
The Hub brings together lots of pre-existing DR UK work, like the Disabled Students Helpline and Education Resources, and signposts to some new content too. For example, DR UK have introduced a new Young People category for News and Resources to make it easier to find the information you need. The materials that the Hub signposts to will also be regularly updated, as new content is released each month in the e-newsletter.
To find out more about how you can get involved, or send any feedback, please email youngvoices@disabilityrightsuk.org
This news comes ahead of DR UK's Annual Conference on the 27th of November - which will focus on what we can learn from young campaigners and how we can become a more representative movement. You can register to attend online for this event until 7pm on the 26th of November. A recording of the panel will also be posted online afterwards if you're unable to join us on the day.
