Disability Rights UK would like to thank all those who have reported to us instances of people using our logo and brand to fraudulently collect money in different parts of the country.
It's important for us to state clearly that we don't do this sort of fundraising - so if anyone approaches you on the street, in a car park or other public place and claims to be collecting for Disability Rights UK, they are not (and are acting fraudulently). We strongly advise that you do not give them any money and let us know if this happens.
Such instances are reported to the police and are recorded as a crime, so anyone doing this should understand that there are potentially serious consequences which may result.
