Equality Advisory & Support Service Release Latest Statistical Analysis
The Equality Advisory & Support Service, the helpline for the Equality & Human Rights Commission, have released statistics for the period June to August 2019. Consistent with previous periods, enquiries relating to disability discrimination (now split into four groups for analysis purposes) equate to more than two thirds of all enquiries received. The statistics reflect a higher level of discrimination related to neuro diversity in education, but also that disabled people continue to face high levels of discrimination in employment and access to services or public functions.
