The Department for Education and Education and Skills Funding Agency want your views on proposals to improve the match between discretionary bursary allocations and the needs of students.
The aim of these improvements is to make sure the most financially vulnerable students receive the support they need to participate in education.
By updating and revising the way the fund is allocated, it is intended that providers will have an appropriate level of funding to effectively support the most financially disadvantaged students.
The consultation closes 23 May 2019.
