DWP announces that the application of the Local Housing Allowance (LHA) rates to social rents for supported housing will commence in 2019/20 rather than 2018/19.

In addition, at this point the Government will bring in a new funding model “which will ensure that the sector continues to be funded at current levels, taking into account the effect of Government policy on social sector rents.”
The Government’s evidence review of supported accommodation in Great Britain will be published shortly alongside a consultation document.
