On Wednesday the 13th of September four young people with disabilities including two of our newest volunteer champions visited our offices in Old Street.

They were here for an induction meeting to welcome them to the campaign and to discuss how they could take the campaign forward in their areas. The meeting was a very productive one and generated ideas that that we can use to take the campaign forward particularly but not only around improving our social media presence.

We are pleased with the quality of our newest volunteer campaign champions. However we are still looking for a greater quantity of champions across our target cities.

So if you have a disability or long term health condition, are aged 18-29 and are interested in joining champions from across target cities in England as part of I Can Make It, or would simply like more information about the campaign, then please contact Leo on 020 7250 8193; via leo.capella@disabilityrightsuk.org; or go to: www.icanmakeit.me.uk
