Irwin Mitchell Access All Areas campaign
Irwin Mitchell’s Access All Areas campaign seeks to highlight the problems disabled people face when seeing live music, as well as their positive experiences at those venues that are fully disabled accessible
Irwin Mitchell are sending two wheelchair users – Rosie Mayes and Charlotte Fairbank - to some of the big summer festivals and gigs to find out what improvements can be made, as well as the positive aspects of the festival and live music experience for disabled people. They’ll report back on themes including:
- Website usability
- Access to tickets
- Transport
- Accommodation
The festivals and concerts that Rosie and Charlotte have reported back on so far are:
Brandon Flowers, Manchester Academy
You can follow Charlotte on Twitter.
Music fanatic Rosie is also on Twitter.
