Purpose of the session
The session will consider:
- DWP’s administration of AtW from the perspectives of employers
- The arrangements for AtW cost-sharing with employers
- AtW support for people with mental health conditions
- AtW guidance in relation to self-employed people, particularly owners of nascent small businesses, and the rules around profitability and earnings
- The "30 hour rule" for support workers, particularly as it affects sign language interpreters
- The potential for substantially increased funding for AtW
