A woman with MS, whose condition was so severe she needed a specially adapted bed and bedroom has won her appeal against the bedroom tax.

A tribunal judge in Glasgow has ruled that imposing the bedroom tax in her case was a breach of human rights.

The judge ruled that she and her husband were legally entitled to a bedroom each because her condition was so severe she needed a specially adapted bed and bedroom.

This is a ruling, by a first tier tribunal, which could still be appealed by the Department of Work and Pensions.
