Yesterday's motion demanding a cumulative impact assessment of the effect of Government cuts on disabled people was defeated by 296 to 227

Labour were asking the Government to come clean on the effects of their policies on disabled people and those who provide care and yesterday debated the following motion:

“That this House believes that the Government should publish a cumulative impact assessment of the changes made by this Government that affect disabled people (to be published by October 2013).”

Disability Rights UK supported this motion.

The Centre for Welfare Reform, on behalf of the Campaign for a Fair Society, has done its own analysis - A Fair Society? - how the cuts target disabled people which looks at the cumulative impact of Government cuts.
