For Participants: Shaping The Government's Child Poverty Strategy
Thank you all to the participants contacted who have agreed to join! this link is for you only as the event is full.
The Prime Minister has announced a new Child Poverty Taskforce in July 2024 to develop Government strategy to better support children and families to thrive. Disability Rights UK are working with Save the Children to talk with children, young people and their families to gather their views on how they can be supported by their local community and bring this to the Taskforce.
We are grateful for you taking the time to join us, discuss and share your experiences and ideas about supporting families who are experiencing financial hardship or difficulties accessing local services.
This session is focusing on childhood disability poverty and your experiences and perspectives. The information recorded in the discussion will then be given to the Taskforce to help them make recommendations for how best to support families and children in the UK.
